António Manuel Nunes da Cunha de Moraes was a lawyer, graduate of the Lisbon Law School, postgraduate in sports law (Universidade Lusíada de Lisboa), with a doctorate in private, social and economic law (Universidade Autónoma de Madrid). He is also a historian, writer, poet and sculptor. He created the “Amália Rodrigues” Awards and was director of the foundation. Author of more than a dozen books. He writes poetry since 1967.
