Manuel Carmo

Lawyer, author, entrepreneur, Jorge Manuel do Carmo Pereira de Almeida was born in Lisbon in 1958. Among other activities, he was an advisor to the Council Board of Ministers of the VII Government of Portugal, a professor of “International Relations” at ISLA, an advisor to the Oliveira Martins Foundation and president of Latin American Studies Institute, an European cultural cooperation NGO. With fifteen books published on international relations, art and philosophy, owner of “Lauder Imobiliária” and president of “Manuel Carmo Foundation”, non-profit organization based in New York, USA, whose purpose is to raise funds to promote dialogue between European and North American cultures.
